African & African Caribbean Wellbeing Café and Outreach Support.

Are you feeling isolated, lonely or sad? If so, the African & African Caribbean Wellbeing Café and Outreach support is the place for you. Established 2007, the African & African Caribbean Wellbeing Café and Outreach Support is a warm, welcoming, culturally appropriate space dedicated to support the health, wellbeing, and connection of the older members of the African & African Caribbean communities in Bradford. Through shared meals, music, storytelling, art, games and conversations, we honour our culture and heritage all this help to foster a sense of belonging joy and happiness.

When Do We Meet?

The sessions are held at St Pauls Community Church All Manningham BD8 7PH on 3rd Wednesdays from 11am to 3.30.pm. Some elders rely on the Access Bus for transportation to and from the Café.
Cost
There is a contribution of £2 however no one is denied entry if they are unable to contribute.

Our Outreach Support extends the care we provide beyond the Café, offering personalised support by our dedicated volunteers for those who are unable to attend in person because of health issues. Whether it’s a friendly phone call, or a home visit to help accessing services. We are here to help uplift and empower our elders with love, respect and dignity and help them to live healthy, independent happy lives.
