welcome to the

black health forum

Our Aim

To promote health equity, wellbeing, and opportunities for, but not exclusively, communities of African and African-Caribbean heritage across Bradford District.

Who We Are & What We are Working Towards.

The Black Health Forum is committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Bradford District’s diverse communities, with a particular focus on addressing the health inequalities experienced by communities of African and African-Caribbean Heritage.

Our mission is to promote, protect, and preserve both mental and physical health through advocacy, partnership, and community engagement. By fostering collaboration and undertaking culturally informed research, we strive to influence and improve the design and delivery of services that are inclusive, equitable, and responsive to the communities’ needs.

We work to ensure that individuals can achieve better health outcomes and access services that recognise, respect, and reflect the diversity of the communities they serve.

Empowering Health. - Strengthening Communities.
